With a new addition to our two-some, we figured we need to post pictures so our family that is spread far and wide could watch our little one grow!

Two weeks in!!
Well we have made it through the first two weeks. Paige is still doing great, as is Mommy. We have only had a few really fussy days, otherwise she still just eats and sleeps. We are definately a wiggle worm though, when we are awake we are doing nothing but moving our arms and legs and arching our back. Paige has also started smiling randomly for no reason, it is very very cute. We had our second doctors visit on thursday an we really liked this pediatrition. Unfortunately she is moving away in a month so we were kind of dissapointed to find that out. Hopefully the new one that is replacing her will be as nice as this one was. No pictures this time around but I will update very very soon.

Day two a success
9 am day two we got discharged with a healthy mommy and a healthy Paige. We found she likes car rides as she fell asleep on our 5 minute ride h0me. Paige has been fairly quiet without much fuss. She likes to be nursed (what baby doesnt like food). Our first night was good, she stayed up for quite some time around 2 am daddy got her to sleep and she slept until 6am.
The dogs have taken quite well and are very protective, R.E. will not leave her side and growls at mogul when he gets two close. Both dogs are allowed to get in a little lick when they feel the need.

Baby finally arrives
After 9 months of waiting Paige LaRee Wente (atleast we think) has finally arrived. Weighing in at 6 pounds 12 ounces she has blonde hair and is perfect in every way. She was born at 11:38 on June 21, 2009 making her the best fathers day present I could possibly ask for (Still want my Garmin GPS though). Leah did wonderfully, just a small epideral and everything went great.

Any day.. yeah sure!!
I have been in and out of the Doctor, weekly visits are a killer! Everything looks great I am progressing a lot faster than "normal" first time mom's (according to two of my Doctor's that I see). I was having a TON of contractions all last week and Thursday I really thought things were cooking! So I went in had a non-stress test... and I stopped contracting. Of course! They did mention that I was showing that I was having quite a few contractions and I wasn't feeling them, so that made me think- maybe labor won't be so bad. HA! I can hope right??
Went to the Doctor today and I have progressed quite a bit since Thursday! And they said they wouldn't be surprised if they saw me in Labor and delivery by the end of this week... SO I am trying to keep myself occupied with cleaning, re-cleaning, reading non-pregnancy books, stocking up on SLEEP, and last but not least trying to not get my hopes up on delivering before my due date! Which my due date is next FRIDAY!!! Please keep your fingers crossed that the doctors are right!

Still Hanging on!
Still wishing and waiting! Which when she is here I know I will say "man it was nice before she was born!" But I am anxious, I want to dress her in all the pink in her closet! So I need to post pictures of her room... which before I post I need to actually take pictures! Her crib bumper just came today so as soon as I put that in I will post pictures! But here are some pictures of me being HUGE! I promised myself I would not post pictures of me being big but so many people have asked.. so here they are!
This is 30ish weeks! Gosh I never realized how tired I look!! Yikes!
This is 34ish weeks! Man 4 weeks makes a huge difference! I need to take a 38 week picture this Friday!!

37 Weeks... Now the waiting begins!
Now it is just a waiting game! 37 weeks marks me being full term! I can honestly say I wasn't ready a few weeks ago.. but nights of waking up with contractions and not being able to sit down without feet pushing on my ribs, it's time for her to be here! Don't get me wrong, I want her to come when she is ready but... I am READY! I thought that since I am so ready it is time to evict this little girl! Her room is almost finished! I will post pics as soon as I can find the cord for the camera! So now we wait.. well I will clean- nesting has set in...

In the home stretch!
I figured I would start this blog so that Jeff and I could post pictures of our new arrival due June 26th, 2009! I tried to do a wedding blog when Jeff and I decided to tie the knot almost 2 years ago... but I was so bad keeping up with it! So this time at least I will have more pictures to post and I hope to keep up to date! Any way to catch everyone up to speed
PREGNANCY SO FAR: So after the morning/ all day sickness faded, and I could actually feel sort of "normal" again, things have gone pretty good and as Jeff puts it "I am a boring pregnant lady"! Now my days are consumed with not being able to see my feet, pick up something on the floor, an odd feeling that I need to reorganize my already organized closet, scrub the grout in my shower, to rewash all of the baby clothes and blankets, not to mention having a bigger waist line than Jeff! Just to name a few! At least I will have beat the heat by the time she is here (gosh I hope!). Thank goodness Laramie doesn't get too hot in the summer regardless! I guess it could be worse.. but at least I get a wonderful present at the end!
BABY GIRL:
If she is as active when she is born as she is now- Jeff and I are going to have our hands full! She is a great kicker and I am still convinced she can break one of my ribs.. She likes to keep me up most of the night already with her kicks and punches! She responds to music, and when you rub her butt (which is located right underneath my ribs most of the time!)! Lets hope she grows out of liking her butt rubbed before she is a teenager! Heck- I hope sooner than that!
THE NAME:
We think we have picked a name, but when we see her and it doesn't fit... then we will go with our back up names! We have at least stood firm on the middle name so at least that is half the battle! I never thought that picking out a name would be so hard.. But the more and more I thought about it the more I realized that this will go with her forever (that is if she doesn't change it one day because she hates it! :) ). So we have a list of 4 or so other girl names that Jeff and I can sort of agree on!
So as of today I am 35 weeks! I will be 36 tomorrow, I will be considered full term at 37 weeks! As the days get closer and closer I realize that our house will never be as quiet as it is now.. I won't get as much sleep as I use to, but at least it will all be worth it in the end!
